Character History

Oz, Thena and Owen were long-time roommates, sharing an apartment in the city. Thena started dating Sophie and she quickly became part of the group. Not long after, Owen hooked up with Isabelle. Eventually, Owen and Isabelle get a place of their own, and Sophie moved in with Thena and Oz.

Owen's younger sister Alyson has learned to tolerate her brother after years of sibling rivalry. She gets along well with Isabelle and hangs out at their place quite often. Oz, Thena and Sophie accept Alyson as the gang's little sister.

THENA: A little bit Ripley, with some Tank Girl thrown in for good measure. Her favorite posession is a soIid pair of worn combat boots. If an odd situation presents itself, Thena's the one to question it. She's never been afraid to get her hands dirty and will stand up to anyone who threatens her or her friends. A little intimidating at first glance but underneath she's a loveable , devoted friend and partner.

OZ: The urban hippie from head to toe. He hides an incredible wealth of knowledge beneath his scruffy stoner appearance. If Oz were to go missing you'd probably find him in a tree with a book. Always optimistic and fun, people gravitate towards him. When he comes up with a plan for an expedition, the gang will follow, trusting that it will be an unusual, crazy experience.

SOPHIE: The quirky redhead. Bubbly and adorable, she the perfect opposite to Thena's quiet intensity. With a huge heart, she tends to mother the people around her by always trying to make sure everyone's happy and having a great time.

ALYSON: The grumbling little sister. At her age, she thinks she's figured out the world and in her opinion. it kind of sucks. She prefers to hang out with her brother's friends (though she'd never admit it to them), and being new to the city she dosen't have many of her own. Any time Alyson feels uncomfortable in a situation she hides it with a large dose of sarcasm.

OWEN: The hyper guy. Any small amount of sugar will send Owen bouncing off the walls. He has a tendency to ramble almost to the point of being annoying. Still, he 's a good guy and knows when to rope it in before he drives his friends crazy. Oz and Thena found Owen to be one of the most entertaining roommates ever.

ISABELLE: The sweet girlfriend. Cute and usually quiet, she's able to reign in Owen with just a warning eyebrow. Owen brings out her inner geek as they share a love of board games and B movies. The newest member of the gang, she fits in as if she's known them all forever.

BEN: He looks like Santa Claus, but has little patience for bratt kids. Semi-retired, he's the neighbourhood handyman, and will glady fix your leaky pipes or build you a deck, but only if a) you pay him in beer and b) he's known you for a minimum of 30 years.

EILEEN: Famous for her community bake sale desserts. She's cookies and kindness with a little fire thrown in for good measure. If she's not knitting booties for the maternity ward, she'll be puttering around her vegetable garden.

LUKE: Bar-fight wiry. Favorite past times include drinking and shooting stuff. A generally unpleasant person to be around, his only good friend is Bo, who' s been willingly taking Luke's abuse since 4th grade.

BO: Sidekick chubby. In a bar fight started by Luke, he'd be the one to get knocked out first. Not a bad guy, just not very bright, which explains why Luke is his best friend. His favorite possession is an old pick-up truck given to him by his Uncle Earl before he kicked the bucket.
